Email opening tracking feature is available in Follow up Autoresponder BASIC/FREE: NO


Before enabling your ARPRO to track email opening rates, you need to follow these steps:

1. Tracking of email openings  is only possible with HTML emails: Go to Autoresponder for which you want to track > PRIVATE SETTINGS > 'Edit settings' > 'Default Format' > select 'HTML' > Save settings.





2. Set up HTML email messages: You can set up HTML email messages at TWO places.

• Autoresponder > PRIVATE SETTINGS > 'Message queue' > Add new message> enter your html in 'HTML body'.
• PUBLIC SETTINGS > Broadcast messages > Add new message > enter your html in 'HTML body'.

You need to enter your email content. YOU DON'T HAVE TO ENTER ANY EMAIL OPEN TRACKING CODE. Script automatically adds the code while sending email.


3. Checking email response rates:  You can check email opening rates at TWO places.

• Autoresponder > PRIVATE SETTINGS > 'Subscriber management' > click on 'Customize Table view' link just above the subscribers table. > select 'Emails opened' option in one of the drop downs > Save. The page refreshes and you will see an extra column in the subscribers table called 'Emails opened'. That column shows the stats of the email openings for that subscriber.
  
  
  

 

• EMAIL OPENINGS & CLICK TRACKING in left menu > 'Tracking Link statistics' > you will see a search form to select criteria like autoresponders, email address, range of dates, type of messages like broadcasts or follow ups etc.
  
  
  

Simply sending HTML emails is enough?

Yes. Once you get to know about above three steps, all you have to do is send HTML emails to your subscribers. Script automaticaly adds the tracking code for email openings and sends email. When your subscriber(s) open the email it will be recorded by the script and you can check the stats.

When you want to track any of your email campaign open rates, go to 'Tracking Link statistics' in left menu and select that autoresponder > Page refreshes with the list of message subjects > select that particular email campaign Subject line from drop down list and select 'Emiail openings' and do the search.
